Thomas Henning writes, performs, directs and produces in theatre and film.

Since 2013, Henning has been working in South East Asia, collaborating on projects ranging from theatre and film to arts festivals and research projects. His work has ranged from documentary to fiction, music videos to visual art and projection. He is one of the key founders of the Timorese film collective Malkriadu Cinema. Their first feature film with the collective, Ema Nudar Umanu, premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2018.

Alongside TerryandTheCuz in Malaysia, Henning has collaborated on several works for performance and events, with a particular focus on history and the socio-cultural impact of colonisation.

Henning is also a live performance VJ and marriage Celebrant.
