Arts House, International Collaboration and Experimental Practice
Local Players
Arts House is Melbourne’s home for contemporary performance and experimental practice. Hear from co-Artistic Directors Emily Sexton and Nithya Nagarajan, and artists Yuiko Masukawa and Sam McGilp, about new approaches to international collaboration grounded reciprocity and exchange. Find out more about their ground-breaking project Running Machine and Arts House’s curatorial interest in the relationship between the digital and live experience, through the international biennial BLEED. After a short talk and light lunch over conversation with APAM delegates, catch two works presented by Arts House and RISING: Korean artist Geumhyung Jeong’s installation Under Maintenance and the 2:30pm matinee performance of Australian Dance Theatre’s Tracker (bookings in advance strongly recommended).
