A DAYLIGHT CONNECTION are a motley crew of visionary theatre-makers smashing the binaries of form, narrative, theme and performance. Percolating for almost a decade, they joined forces in 2022 with the critically acclaimed CHASE. Deeply collaborative, the team masters almost all creative roles, performance, choreography, devising, dramaturgy, playwriting, direction, set, sound and AV. Bringing impeccable craft and mad-crack realness to a banging musical score, A DAYLIGHT CONNECTION crawls through the mouldy crevices of class, identity, existentialism, spirituality and the global zeitgeist. Core members of A DAYLIGHT CONNECTION are Kamarra Bell-Wykes (Yagera/Butchulla), Carly Sheppard (Wallangamma and Takalaka) and small sound (Qaundamooka).

    Compelling, repelling, and funny. Joined by her zany crew of besties and YouTube subscribers for company, Chase is throwing the party to end all parties. The party to end the world! That’s if any of them actually exist… YOLO!

    Chase premiered in 2022 at Malthouse Theatre in a co-production with Hothouse Theatre and in 2023 enjoyed a successful season at World Pride Sydney.

    Chase is looking for further touring opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, Europe, the UK and North America.
