Circus Oz

Non Stop

Circus Oz has been touring the world since 1978 when it pioneered contemporary circus. From Papua New Guinea to the Pitjantjatjara lands, to 42nd St. NYC, to Bogotá, Colombia, Circus Oz has been wowing audiences, engaging communities in the art of circus and pushing boundaries of what the human body is capable of doing.

Through acrobatics, comedy, clowning, slapstick, satire and with live music, Circus Oz creates entertainment for the masses that inspires the everyday person.

Circus Oz continues to be at the forefront of international contemporary circus with performances that are as distinctive and dynamic as our touring history. With our unwavering commitment to creativity, diversity, social justice, irreverence, community engagement, and self-determination, Circus Oz is an iconic and enduring presence in the world of contemporary circus and physical theatre.

Our latest production Non Stop for the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival received multiple five-star rave reviews and packed-out Melbourne’s iconic Forum Theatre.

With 45 years of experience touring regional Australia and to over 20 countries around the world our bags are packed and ready to go!

We are NON STOP!

Circus Oz presents Non Stop, a short, fast and furious show reflecting an eclectic mob celebrating the human body in all its ages, with all its awkwardness and all its strengths, and what makes us laugh… trouble!

In a collision of comedy, clowning, acrobatics, archery, live music, flying trapeze, slapstick and daredevilry by the hand of an ensemble spanning 6 decades, Circus Oz brings a fun-filled extravaganza performed by a multi-generational ensemble for a multi-generational audience.

A bunch of “ordinary” humans doing extraordinary things and pushing the boundaries of Circus. It is Non Stop energy!
