Kate Malone

Executive Producer, Cluster Arts (QLD)

Kate has spent the past 15 years working across a range of roles within Queensland Arts delivering events, festivals, shows in theatres, tents & open air. As Executive Producer of Cluster Arts, she has worked extensively around Australia and internationally with Casus Circus, Briefs Factory, Company 2 (now Chelsea McGuffin & Co), Hoopla Clique and Woodford Folk Festival. Kate has served on peer assessment panels for Arts funding, international circus platforms and in 2020, was awarded a Brisbane City Council Artistic Fellowship.

Kate has worked with major festivals around the world and has a vast knowledge of the international circus market. She specialises in Export Market Development Grant opportunities through Austrade and is passionate about audience development in the understanding of the contemporary circus as an artform.
