Triage Live Art Collective

Australia

Katerina Kokkinos-Kennedy is an award-winning theatre director, writer, and curator. She is the artistic director of Triage Live Art Collective the company she founded in 2009. Since 2006 her artistic practice has focused on creating participatory, immersive and site-specific projects. Triage has forged a distinct reputation for the creation of nuanced, and expertly dramaturged works which place audiences at the centre of the performance event. The creation of playful, poetic and alternate worlds is central to what we do. Her acclaimed performances have been commissioned by companies and festivals locally and internationally. From 2013-2016 Katerina directed Hotel Obscura, a project funded by Creative Europe and presented in four countries (Australia, Greece, France and Austria). In 2016 she was awarded a prestigious two-year Theatre Fellowship in recognition of her highly innovative artistic practice. Recent Triage works include: The Infirmary, Arts House (2018); i can’t believe we’re still having this conversation, Wonderland Festival Italy (2019); and sea inside, Hammerfest Festival, Norway (2019). Katerina and her creative collaborators are currently developing a suite of new works: After the Flood, Espionage, META, and Thresholds.
