Breaking Circuits: Exploring Global Mobility
Exchange: Round Table Session
When artists seek to tour work how does mobility impact their approach or ability to achieve this?
Touring work brings rewards and presents obstacles around sustainability and artistic practice, market and cultural development. Increasingly borders are tightening, complex, and at times, in flux. Mobility is restricted for some and not others.
How do we as a global performing arts sector navigate these forces, given that they often lie outside of our control? How do we work strategically to challenge inequities, and to enable mobility and exchange to occur despite these constraints?
Join a round table workshop on global mobility, touring and the power of geography and nationhood.
