Breaking Circuits: Exploring Global Mobility

Exchange: Round Table Session

When artists look to tour work how does mobility impact their approach or ability to achieve this?

Touring work brings many rewards and obstacles around sustainability and artistic practice, market and cultural development. Increasingly borders are tightening, complex, and, at times, in flux. Mobility is restricted for some and not others.

How do we as a global performing arts sector navigate these forces outside of our control? How do we work strategically to challenge the inequities, and enable mobility and exchange to occur amongst these constraints.

Join a round table workshop on global mobility, touring and the power of geography and nationhood.
