Exchange: Adelaide Central Market
Choose your own adventure.
Adelaide Central Market is an Adelaide icon, and Friday morning is the perfect time for coffee, breakfast, browsing the wonderful range of fine foods, catching up with friends, and people-watching.
The Market is one of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the southern hemisphere, buzzing with life and colour all year round. It offers a huge range of fresh food including fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, seafood, cheeses, bakery, smallgoods and health foods, along with some of Adelaide’s most popular cafes and eateries.
9:00am: Visitors to Adelaide who’d like a local’s recommendations can meet Gathering Hosts outside Her Majesty’s Theatre, 58 Grote Street (directly opposite the Market). The Hosts will be very happy to share their favourite places for caffeination and breakfast. Explore the bustling market lanes in a group, or by yourself.
