In Place: Dance Hub SA

Curated by presenters and producers based in the host festival’s city. These events are designed to offer participants a window into the local contemporary performing arts sector, and are collaborations between APAM and local industry organisations.

Dance Hub SA presents a panel discussion of women in dance discussing artistic practice, motivation, vision, collaboration, evolution and the currency of Dance in the 21st Century. Speakers include Dance Hub SA’s Artistic Director Amanda Phillips and colleagues Alison Currie; Adrianne Semmens; Dianne Reid and Lina Limosani. Learn about the paths travelled in connecting audiences through dance.

Dance Hub SA is the only organisation in South Australia with the sole purpose of nurturing, promoting and developing the freelance dance sector through professional development opportunities both within their studio and through programmes that include residencies, workshops and project commissions. They champion diversity of practice and lifelong learning through skills development and art form development, and are responsive to two-way feedback and collaborative decision making.
