Following a lifetime of advocacy and the more recent profound shift in the cultural tone of the arts, First Nations creatives are taking back space across the industry. As we begin to see ourselves better reflected across a breadth of mediums, we hone in on First Nations artists creating evolutionary and experimental work. Led by YIRRAMBOI, one of the leading self-determined festivals in Australia, this panel destroys preconceived notions of First Nations arts and invites the broader industry to catch up to our new forms of expression.
