Jumu'ah Friday Prayers
ActNow Theatre
Developed in consultation with members of the Muslim community, Jumu’ah (Friday Prayers) follows the relationship between three siblings and their experiences at school both before and after a racially charged attack on the youngest sibling leads to her losing her life.
Students will be guided by the artists as they unpack Islamophobia stereotypes and address issues of white supremacy, helping your students to understand white privilege and demystifying the Islamic faith.
A timely work that breaks down racism and barriers between people.
