We are all attempting to survive massive upheavals: political, environmental, climatic, and social. For the last day of APAM, at NEIGHBOURHOOD, we will gather and talk to share stories, listen, and learn from each other.

This is not the first storm we’ve been through. In a day of artist-led thinking, we will seek comfort in the survival strategies we’ve used in the past. We will ask how we might make art within, despite, and throughout crises. Huddled together under the umbrella of conversation, we may just see each other through the squall.

A partnership between Theatre Network Australia (TNA) and APAM in association with the Australia Council for the Arts, NEIGHBOURHOOD is a day of exchange exploring local and global connections in our creative neighbourhood.

The Co-Curators and MCs for NEIGHBOURHOOD are:

EUGYEENE TEH is a Melbourne-based theatre-maker and designer for live performance. Eugyeene’s international collaboration on The Seen and Unseen is part of Asia TOPA.

MISH GRIGOR works in performance across a range of collaborative formats. Mish will perform with POST’s Oedipus Schmoedipus in English, alongside the Cantonese iteration performed by Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, as part of in Asia TOPA.

Participation in NEIGHBOURHOOD is included in your APAM Gathering Registration.
