Working with Australia's Major Festivals

Exchange: Panel Discussion

A session that will uncover the Major Festivals Initiative (MFI), the projects it has commissioned and toured and an opportunity to hear from Australian Festival Directors about works ripe for national and international partnerships.

MFI is an Australia Council funded investment program, managed by the Confederation of Australian International Arts Festivals (CAIAF). It shepherds commissioning funds to Australian artists for the development and commissioning of exciting new works of scale.

Hosted by Richard Evans, CAIAF Chair, Festival Directors will share some recent case studies of commissioned and toured MFI projects as well as highlighting some existing projects that are good to go for touring.
