APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival

COVID-19 Update

Due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, including continuing uncertainty around state lockdowns and border restrictions, APAM has made the difficult decision to move the APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival 2021 fully online. We understand that this will be disappointing news for participants planning to be in Darwin for the in-person Gathering but we feel this is the best way to keep everyone safe and provide certainty for all.

In-person registration holders will automatically be transferred to a digital-only registration and refunded the difference in price, including booking fees. If you have any questions about this process, please contact APAM at hello@apam.org.au.

Darwin Festival is going ahead and welcomes anyone choosing to travel to Darwin for the Festival to use their APAM discount code as this will remain valid for ticket bookings. If you are heading to Darwin, get in touch with First Nations Delivery Producer Erica McCalman, who will be on the ground and able to assist you while you’re in town.

As the in-person program will no longer be going ahead in Darwin, we will be incorporating aspects of this program into the digital program. The APAM Digital Platform will be live from 6 August, enabling you to seamlessly connect to fellow participants all around the world and access the Gathering program.

APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival – Digital Program registrations are still open so if you haven’t booked yet, head here to secure your place. We look forward to welcoming you from 10 August where, alongside over 300 artists, arts organisations, and presenters from 24 countries, you’ll enjoy 10 days of roundtables, exchanges, showcase and profile sessions.
