Expressions of Interest Open for Profile at Darwin Festival Gathering
Closing midnight AEST 16 April 2021
APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival 2021 will feature Profiles highlighting the repertoire, ideas and ambitions of a number of Australian and New Zealand performing artists and companies.
Profiles are short presentations (5-10 mins in length) by artists, companies and presenters, to share information about new and existing performance projects, and invite collaboration and potential partners.
All Profile presentations will take place online. If your expression of interest for Profile is successful, it’s not necessary for you to be physically in Darwin to give your presentation. Profile briefing and recording sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout June.
There will be two Profile categories designed for performing artists and makers and one Profile category for presenters of performance works.
Expressions of interest close midnight AEST 16 April 2021.
APAM will notify all applicants of the outcome of their EOI by 30 April.
Digital Gathering program: 10 – 19 August 2021
In Person Gathering: 14 – 17 August 2021
All enquiries welcome at hello@apam.org.au
The APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival will focus on works which consider diversity in form and practice, works which sit seemingly alongside a multi-artform festival and are driven through collaboration. In curating Profile within the Gathering at Darwin Festival, we want to hear about works which consider space and site.
The APAM curatorial panel convened for the Darwin Festival Gathering will select artists and presenters for Profile.
