Taking place in Melbourne on the lands of the Wurundjeri/Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation, the APAM Gathering at RISING Melbourne provided a special opportunity to see Australian and New Zealand contemporary performance as pitches and full- length productions presented by RISING Melbourne, participate in formal and informal networking, engage in dialogue and knowledge sharing, and make new national and international connections.

In 2023 APAM partnered with Carbon Neutral to make the Gathering at RISING a carbon-neutral event.
