APAM's Code of Online Conduct
APAM is committed to creating and sustaining an environment of mutual trust, inclusivity and respect in everything we do: the events we produce, the conversations we host, the connections we foster.
By participating in an online event produced by APAM, you agree:
+ To treat all other participants with courtesy, kindness and respect.
+ To respect intellectual property rights and give credit to the originators of creative ideas and work.
+ To respect the privacy of others participating in the event.
+ That debate is healthy and natural, and sometimes disagreement occurs. When it does, it’s important to respond with a genuine attempt to understand the other person’s perspective. Deep listening is valued, as is dissent.
+ To keep communications with other participants in the APAM event focused and relevant.
+ To be mindful and respectful of participants’ linguistic backgrounds and diverse intellectual and physical considerations which may affect the way they engage and communicate in online environments.
