You can generally visit performingartsmarket.com.au without revealing personal information, unless you provide it directly to APAM. The information we receive depends upon what you do when visiting the site.
Information we collect
As is the case for nearly all websites, APAM makes a general record of your visit, logging the following information for statistical purposes:
- your server's address
- the name of the top-level domain from which you access the Internet (for example, .gov, .com, .au, .nz, etc.)

- the pages accessed and documents downloaded
- the previous Internet address from which you linked directly to performingartsmarket.com.au. (except in cases where the referring site declines to pass this information on)
APAM uses this information to measure the reach of its online activities and analyse website traffic to performingartsmarket.com.au and general user behaviour visiting the site.
We will not identify users or their browsing activities, except where a law enforcement agency (or other government agency) may exercise a legal authority to inspect the ISP logs (e.g. by warrant, subpoena or notice to produce).
In some instances, including subscribing to the APAM mailing list, applying for the APAM program, registering as an APAM delegate, and/or contacting us via the provided online form, you will opt to provide personal information to APAM.

Where you elect to provide us with personal details, we will add these to one of our databases and use it to administer APAM. Databases we use include the APAM mailing list, the APAM application register, the APAM delegate register and the APAM contact register.
Where you have provided APAM with personal information, we will take every reasonable steps to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorised accessing of that information.

APAM will not disclose or sell your information to other parties without your consent.
By applying or registering for APAM, you grant APAM the right to disclose your information to our partners, as well as members of the APAM Curatorial Panel.
APAM will NOT disclose your private information to any other third party without your consent.
Security
APAM maintains the same level of security for personal information collected in an electronic format as it does for personal information collected in paper format.
However, if you are providing personal information via an email or an online form you should be aware that there are some risks to transmitting data via the Internet, unless it is encrypted with a security certificate.
APAM uses encryption and related server side mechanisms for secure data transfer in certain areas of the site, where financial transactions may take place (e.g. credit card details); in other cases, where no financial transactions take place, web forms usually will not have encryption.
