APAM 2014 Program Announcement

An exciting day for Brisbane Powerhouse as we announce the APAM 2014 program. With 37 production showcases and 15 work-in-development pitches on offer, APAM 2014 will have plenty on offer for international and national presenters and buyers. Program highlights include full length showcases by Shaun Parker & Company and ILBIJERRI Theatre Company, a special event by Terrapin Puppet Theatre and the curated cabaret - an APAM first - featuring four works by Yana Alana and Tha Paranas, Synergy Percussion, Justin Shoulder and collaboratorsand Die Roten Punkte.

APAM 2014 Program Applications Close

Program applications for APAM 2014 have now closed. Successful applicants will be selected by the APAM Curatorial Panel, a group of internationally recognised artists and producers that have come together to curate the program for APAM 2014. 
 
There are two Curatorial Panel sub-groups; one for Australian works and one for New Zealand works. The respective APAM Curatorial Panel groups will meet in August 2013 to deliberate all APAM program applications. Successful applicants will be notified on 10 September 2013.

Rent a mobile booth and become an exhibitor at APAM 2014. To rent a mobile booth, complete the online Expression of Interest form by 20 September 2013. Click here for all the information.
 
Advertise with APAM 2014 to reach your target audience: the comprehensive APAM 2014 Advertising Guide including a Booking Form is available for download at performingartsmarket.com.au/advertise. Booking deadlines vary depending on the advertising offer you wish to take advantage of.

Early Bird Delegate Registrations Open

Presenters, producers, agents, and anyone who may be interested in attending the first Australian Performing Arts Market in Brisbane are now invited to register for APAM 2014.

APAM, which attracted a record crowd in 2012, will be held in Brisbane from Tuesday, 18 February to Saturday, 22 February 2014, and will be presented by the Australia Council for the Arts in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse.

Brisbane Powerhouse will be the hub for all APAM activities and performances, with additional events being held across a network of local partner venues, including the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, the QUT Gardens Theatre, and the Queensland Conservatorium | Griffith University.

Delegate Passes are limited and are expected to sell out, so register early, secure your spot and save.

APAM 2014 Program Applications Open

We are now calling for applications for the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) 2014 taking place in Brisbane, Queensland from 18 to 22 February 2014.

Applications are available online at www.performingartsmarket.com.au/apply and close midnight 22 July 2013 (AEST).

Preparations for APAM 2014 are in full swing and we are thrilled to share with you our refreshed website www.performingartsmarket.com.au. Bookmark the site now and save the key dates for APAM 2014. Not long before online artist applications will go live on Monday, 22 April 2013!

APAM Roadshows

Members of the APAM team and the Australia Council for the Arts are on the road to connect with you and start the conversation about becoming involved in APAM 2014.
 
The APAM roadshow is already underway and after Perth and Auckland, we’ll be travelling to Darwin, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane throughout March.
 
The APAM roadshow is your opportunity to hear about plans for APAM 2014, get advice on how to get involved, hear from experienced APAM attendees who will discuss how to be APAM ready and make the best of attending the market, and network with colleagues and peers.
