Australia’s very own diva extraordinaire – the feather ruffler, the rabble rouser, the cabaret provocateur Yana Alana, takes to the stage for her solo show (with two people in it).
Between the Cracks, a bent night of blues, burlesque and blame, is the latest work from the team that has made Sarah Ward into Australia’s fastest rising cabaret star. In this ‘One Woman Show’ the tyrannical Yana Alana (Sarah Ward) accompanied by her long suffering accompanist Louise Goh, bares all (quite literally) through song, eccentric dance, poetry and tantrums. This is cabaret at its very best – incisive, hilarious, confronting, revealing and, most of all, musically divine.

Yana Alana and The Paranas
Yana Alana first imposed herself on audiences in 2006 and quickly teased her way into award-winning seasons of her show Bite Me at festivals around Australia. The sell-out follow up show, Bite Me Harder, was awarded the Green Room Award for Best Cabaret Artiste and since then the accolades and awards have kept on coming. Yana Alana has also performed with Finucane & Smith’s Glory Box Paradise and to the Darwin and Brisbane Festival’s as part of La Soirée.
