An irreverent and joyous musical celebration of the history of Indigenous Australian Country and Western music

Take a theatrical musical journey that celebrates the history of Indigenous Australian Country and Western music with the brand new production Buried Country (working title).

In the style of The Sapphires, Buried Country (working title) promises to be an irreverent, joyous musical celebration of those artists who fought to be accepted and successful on their own terms in a white world and amongst their own people. Your toes will be tapping along to the country and western hits of the 20th and early 21st Centuries, and you’ll be enthralled by stories of the struggle for acceptance and success of inspirational country and music legends such as Jimmy Little.
