Privacy

Brisbane Powerhouse abides by the Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Web Sites issued by the Australian Privacy Commissioner.
 
You can generally visit performingartsmarket.com.au without revealing personal information, unless you provide it directly to Brisbane Powerhouse. The information we receive depends upon what you do when visiting the site.
 

Information we collect

As is the case for nearly all websites, Brisbane Powerhouse makes a general record of your website visit, logging the following information for statistical purposes:

Disclosure of your information

Brisbane Powerhouse will not disclose or sell your information to other parties without your consent.
 
By applying or registering for APAM, you grant Brisbane Powerhouse the right to disclose your information to the APAM partners, as well as members of the APAM Curatorial Panel.
 
Brisbane Powerhouse will NOT disclose your private information to any other third party without your consent.
 

Security

Brisbane Powerhouse maintains the same level of security for personal information collected in an electronic format as it does for personal information collected in paper format.
 
However, if you are providing personal information via an email or an online form you should be aware that there are some risks to transmitting data via the Internet, unless it is encrypted with a security certificate.
 
Brisbane Powerhouse uses encryption and related server side mechanisms for secure data transfer in certain areas of the site, where financial transactions may take place (e.g. credit card details); in other cases, where no financial transactions take place, web forms usually will not have encryption.
