Drop in and chat with national tour coordinators from around Australia.

Australia's state-based national tour coordinators are responsible for delivering a large amount of the country's touring activity. Each organisation works extremely closely with producers and presenters to develop and maintain a vibrant touring industry in urban and regional communities.

Art in our Backyard is a place to drop in to speak directly with representatives from each state and find out more about Australian work available for touring. It's also an opportunity to ask any questions you have about how touring works from state to state and across Australia generally.

The organisation delivers quality cultural experiences, which stimulate, challenge and build capacity across both visual and performing arts practice throughout the Northern Territory and nationally.

The company’s goal is to make exceptional theatre accessible to audiences everywhere, extending the life of outstanding productions. Scores of artists are engaged on Critical Stages touring productions every year, travelling to perform in hundreds of towns and cities from Mackay to Melbourne, and Bunbury to Broken Hill to tens of thousands of audience members every year.

Booth Holder 7 – National Touring Selector

The National Touring Selector is a networking database for the performing arts industry within Australia and New Zealand with particular emphasis on regional presenters and producers of shows at any stage, from an idea to tour-ready.

The NTS is a tool for streamlining the communications between presenters, creators and tour coordinators as well as the selection of productions that appear at various performing arts markets and managing the stakeholder interest of national and state-wide performing arts touring.

The site welcomes producers, artists, professional and community presenters, tour coordinators, agents and friends to become users. While anyone can view a limited amount of information contained on the site, a much greater level of detail on productions, venues and programming policies is available if you register and create a login on the NTS. With new features being added regularly, this is now a far more sophisticated and efficient tool than its predecessors.
