Wild Wild Love is an irreverent new play about identity, power and obsession.
Catherine and Wilson take a honeymoon hunting trip. In the wilderness, Catherine’s obsessive love begins to reveal itself through her desire to be just like Wilson. As the couple move towards occupying the same identity, a surreal, darkly comic and beautifully savage contest plays out. This tussle for power is disorientated further - with Catherine being played by a man and Wilson by a woman - creating a loaded gender discussion.
Wild Wild Love tells a story that subverts and disorientates subconscious assumptions about the behaviours of each of the sexes and the interrelationship between them.
