Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey presents Gauge
Explore this contemplative sound-science playground and experience a hands-on encounter with weather, water and scale
Gauge is a playful and curious investigation by a group of artists and scientists into weather, water and scale. In this ephemeral, hands-on weather museum, visitors can play with mud, ice and water, activating the contemplative sound-science playground around them.
Gauge takes the form of an installation with daily performance interruptions. A series of large-scale and intimate works are sonically orchestrated within a large space, and influenced through a realtime weather station placed on site. Daily short performances that activate some of the works by the artists draw attention to the world created and influenced by the people within the space.
