Terrapin Puppet Theatre presents I Think I Can by Sam Routledge and Martyn Coutts
Become a miniature puppet living out an alternate life in a model railway world
Choose a miniature puppet as your alter ego and play out your new life on a large-scale model railway. I Think I Can brings together model trains, intricate puppetry, live video and active audience participation to create an innovative public artwork that asks: “What would you like to be today?”
As your resident is animated by a puppeteer, you follow them live and magnified via video streaming. Then later the story that you tell for them appears on the online newspaper ithinkicanonline.com created especially for this tiny town. I Think I Can is a whimsical installation that will be enjoyed by all ages.
Join Sam Routledge, Artistic Director of Terrapin Puppet Theatre, at noon on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 February for an introduction to the work.
