Maude Davey presents My Life in the Nude

19 February 7:45pm - 8:10pm Brisbane Powerhouse - The Hub Music Theatre, Opera, Cabaret 25-min Excerpt Adults (18+)

A retrospective of Maude Davey's (nude) body of work

After taking her clothes off in public for 30 years, performance artist Maude Davey has decided it's time for less make-up and more clothes. A celebration of her body of work, My Life in the Nude is a revealing cabaret confession and a retrospective in which she bares all for the very last time.

As one of the core members of the genre-busting The Burlesque Hour, Maude Davey helped set the standard for edgy, political, provocative and sexy salon cabaret. Her performances - clothed or not - are remarkable for their wit, intelligence and for their capacity to evoke profound emotional responses.
