Erth Visual & Physical Inc. presents The Dream of the Thylacine
Poetry and puppetry combine to create a lament for a lost species
Drawing on the beautiful illustrated children's storybook by Ron Brooks and Margaret Wild, Erth Visual & Physical Inc. bring to life the lost memories of the world's last Tasmanian tiger. The Dream of the Thylacine is an ode to hope when reality may be elusive.
From the creators of Dinosaur Zoo, this family theatre show incorporates myth and fact with life-like puppets, telling what might have been the Thylacine's last dream; roaming the wilderness longing for freedom. Beautiful text and illustrations are brought to life through animated projections and an evocative original score, and the show is accompanied by an exhibition of artefacts and artworks.
