“Handsome, hilarious and harmonious, The Modern Māori Quartet is entertainment at its best." Theatreview (NZ)

The Modern Māori Quartet Ltd presents AN EVENING WITH THE MODERN MĀORI QUARTET

Wed 24 Feb 9:35pm - 10:00pm

30 minutes Turbine Platform, Brisbane Powerhouse All Ages

Music to make you melt like golden syrup on a piece of fresh hot fried bread.

The suave crooners from Modern Māori Quartet (MMQ) invite you to enjoy a fresh take on the classic Māori showbands of yesteryear. Their signature cabaret show, An Evening with the Modern Māori Quartet, promises a trip down memory lane as this multi-talented foursome bring a fresh twist to Kiwi golden oldies and a unique spin on recent international hits.

With sublime harmonies and universal humour, these New Zealand Drama School graduates (who describe themselves as the ‘Maori Rat Pack’) mix old school charm with modern quirk, spiced with Māori culture for a cabaret experience to remember.
