AXIS Dance Company and Marc Brew Company join forces to present physically integrated dance featuring dancers with and without physical disabilities.

AXIS Dance Company is one of the world’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and without disabilities. Founded in 1987, AXIS has paved the way for physically integrated dance in the USA and commissioned choreographers including Bill T. Jones, Stephen Petronio, Ann Carlson and Victoria Marks.

Marc Brew is an award-winning Australian choreographer currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. His choreography and performance work is influenced by his experience as a dancer using a wheelchair and his professional career in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Internationally renowned Marc has performed and created work for his own company and companies in Europe, USA, and NZ.

In 2011, AXIS teamed up with Marc Brew to create Full of Words.  Since then, Marc has served as guest Artistic Director and created another work Divide in 2014. We are thrilled to offer a split bill performance and engagement work to the audiences in Australia.

AXIS and Brew also offer extensive community outreach and professional programs for dancers with and without disabilities alongside their main stage touring productions.
