“The show has its share of breathtaking feats, but its real achievement is a depth of dramatic engagement that's rare in circus.” The Age

Dislocate presents IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK...?

Tue 23 Feb 3:15pm - 3:45pm

30 minutes Concert Hall, QPAC Adults (18+)

If your walls could talk, what would they say about you?

To live in a house is to paint it in memory: layer after layer, the outrageous and the everyday, inhabiting the walls as surely as any ghost. An intricate mesh of slapstick theatre, astonishing circus skills and powerful storytelling, If These Walls Could Talk brings to life the stories inhabiting a single apartment – a place of birth and death, joy and despair, the mundane and the beautiful – as lived in by six generations of tenants.

Bristling with humour, physical prowess and deep theatrical ambition, this is an affecting portrayal of life, mortality and the things we leave behind – an astonishing, new work from one of Australia’s foremost independent physical theatre companies.
