CONFUSION...
A model for creating new dance works of confusion
Choreographer Jo Lloyd passes on her ‘confusion’ methodology and performance practice to a contemporary dance community to create a new Confusion… dance work.
In Lloyd's Confusion for Three (2015), hypnotic tension is generated by three dancers as they negotiate a progressively unravelling system of choreography. Inspired by the success of this work, Lloyd has developed a methodology so it can be passed on and performed by other dance artists.
Confusion... offers a generous and exceptional opportunity for presenters interested in authentic cultural exchange. Working with an innovative and assured choreographer, a new iteration of Confusion unique to each individual context is created.
