PASSENGER

You board a bus and the world outside your window loses certainty.

Set onboard a moving suburban bus, this unusual theatre work is like being inside a film, complete with epic original soundtrack, an unexpected narrative, a cowboy and a black horse. An overheard conversation plays out between two fellow passengers and as you gaze at the passing world outside, you’re seduced into an altered understanding of the environment around you.

Exploring our relationship to screen media and how it influences our interpretation of the world, Passenger frames its chosen built up urban landscape as a filmic backdrop – the frontier of the market-driven economy and the perfect setting for a modern-day Western.
