SKINNYFISH SOUND SYSTEM
A modern late-night tribal dance party.
Skinnyfish Sound System brings together a selection of the best producers in the country with powerful Indigenous performers for a late-night festival club-style performance.
The MCs draw their strength from traditional upbringings, cultural authority, cross cultural touring experiences and exchanges and their sound brings the incredible “Bambu” or “Yidaki” (didjeridoo) to the forefront.
Sampling hundreds of tracks from a huge archive of Indigenous music, Skinnyfish Sound System create a world of traditional and tribal chants, drops, claps, calls, hymns and anthems served up by dynamic MCs, singers and musicians. It’s the ultimate cultural party.
