The Irresistible is an exploration of the invisible and insidious nature of unconscious bias, told through multiple parallel narratives that intersect through mystery and sci-fi. Locations and time bleed into one another with dream-like fluidity as performers transition from one character to the next at breakneck-speed.
Deep in the gloom a phone rings. The voice on the line slips beneath her skin and curls its fingers around his stomach. You can’t see it, you can’t touch it, you can barely feel it. You can’t hold on tight enough.

Under the leadership of writer/director Zoe Pepper, Side Pony Productions creates fresh new performance through a well-trodden devising process that is driven by a love of story, a diligence to create enduring plot structures and a commitment to creating characters that reflect the many contradictions of the human condition.
The Last Great Hunt is seven of Australia’s brightest and most talented theatre makers – Gita Bezard, Adriane Daff, Jeffrey Jay Fowler, Arielle Gray, Chris Isaacs, Kat Osborne and Tim Watts.
Together they create immersive experiences, site specific performance and traditional theatre that experiments with form.
