Tristan Meecham and Insite Arts present Miss Universe
An epic battle and love dedication to Grace Jones, Gods and Gladiators
Miss Universe, the grand conclusion to performance artist Tristan Meecham’s Coming Out Trilogy, is a battle to the ‘death’ between international provocateur Grace Jones and performance artist Tristan Meecham. A panel of prestigious judges will vote as Grace and Tristan, along with their entourages, compete for the title of ultimate performer, with the loser never allowed to perform publicly again.
A grand narrative to inspire belief in the impossible and the ridiculous, Miss Universe is a meditation on aspirational culture, the fame monster and the myth of achieving your ultimate dreams. Mixing Mardi Gras and beauty pageants with wrestling and cannibalism, this giant spectacle will mark the apotheosis of Tristan’s career. Or will it?
