Accessibility & Wellbeing

APAM is dedicated to making our event as accessible as possible.

We believe accessibility and inclusion are conversations as much as collateral. For that reason the APAM registration form asks you for any access requirements you’d like us to know and we’ll be in touch with you to chat further before the event to make sure your needs are accomodated.

If you have any questions, or want to talk before registering, don’t hesitate to contact PAC Australia at apam@paca.org.au

Sign up to the APAM e-newsletter to get any updates and announcements as they happen.

Finding APAM Staff

At any point during your time with us, you can ask an APAM staff member for info or help – we’ll be wearing bright red lanyards. A registration desk will be set up all week at our main venue, the Pan Pacific Perth, which will always have a team member stationed at it.

The Sunflower symbol

The sunflower is the globally recognised symbol for non-visible, or hidden, disabilities. We’ll have Sunflower lanyards available at the registration desk for anyone who would like to use one. We’ll also have materials available on the Hidden Disability Sunflower in the APAM delegate app to spread the Sunflower message and help you feel supported while you’re with us.

Sign language interpretation

The deadline to let us know if you require you require sign language interpretation whether Auslan, BSL or other was Friday 30 January 2026. Please contact us here if you have any questions.

Language interpretation and translation

The deadline to let us know if you or a colleague will require an interpreter or translation service when at APAM was Friday 30 January 2026. Please contact us here if you have any questions.

We will be using a service called Wordly to support with interpretation of key sessions during the Market. Sessions where translation is available are marked in Swapcard. To access the session’s translation we’ll have QR codes on display and links will also be in Swapcard. You can read or listen to translations—make sure you bring your headphones! You do not need to download the Wordly app to use the service.

Know Before You Go

Know Before You Go is a public online session (held on Zoom). This took place on Thursday 12 February 2026.

For you, at APAM

First Nations & Indigenous Space

A dedicated First Nations & Indigenous Space will be available at the Pan Pacific Perth Hotel. This space is available for all First Nations and Indigenous APAM delegates as an area to connect, conduct First Nations and Indigenous business, rest and restore.

Quiet Room

A quiet room will be available at the Pan Pacific Perth. This room is a private and quiet space where delegates can find a peaceful moment away from the noise and energy of the event. There’ll be places to sit and switch off, or quietly get some work done.

Prayer Room

A Prayer Room will also be available for use by APAM delegates. It is a private room available for use by people of all faiths.

First Aid

Please approach any APAM staff member for first aid support on site.

Mental Health Support

There are many different community initiatives to support mental health and wellbeing available in Australia, and we’ve highlighted some organisations and resources that may be useful:
