Registrations for the Australian Performing Arts Market 2026 have closed.

Registration and Fees

Tickets are priced based on your or your organisation’s annual turnover. This also includes independent practitioners (unsalaried artists or producers). 

All figures are in AUD and inclusive of 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax). 

  • Small/Independent (Under $250,000 AUD) – $675
  • Medium ($250,000 – $1 million AUD) – $1,015
  • Large (Over $1 million AUD) – $1,350

When registering for APAM you can also add a contribution to the Doonan Community Restoration Project through Reforest for $11.55.

Your registration covers access to the full APAM program, as well as the Opening Night Reception, lunches, morning and afternoon teas, exclusive networking events, and a full-day trip to Fremantle with coach transport. You’ll also receive access to discounted tickets for Perth Festival productions. Don’t forget to book your accommodation early to secure the best rates.

Global First Nations Gathering 

There will be a First Nations and Indigenous delegates’ welcome, protocols and cultural exchange pre-gathering during the daytime on Sunday 22 February, followed by industry discussions on Monday 23 February

If you identify as First Nations or Indigenous, the APAM registration form will ask you a few questions about your plans to join us. The gathering is automatically included in APAM Full Event registrations.

Perth Festival 

Please note APAM registrations don’t include tickets to Perth Festival shows. APAM delegates will be provided with a special discount code to book for Perth Festival shows closer to the event.

Networking events 

A number of dedicated networking events will take place during the week. All registrations include these sessions by default. 

If a colleague or artist wants to join us only for the networking events, individual tickets can be purchased for these sessions using the registration form.

EVENT refers to the 2026 Australian Performing Arts Market [APAM] held between 23 – 27 February 2026.  

APAM 2026-2030 is an initiative of Creative Australia and is supported by the Western Australian Government’s Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport. PAC Australia has been appointed to deliver APAM 2026 – 2030. The terms and conditions are governed by PAC Australia as operators of the Event.  

DELEGATE – is any person who holds a Registration or Networking Ticket for the 2026 Australian Performing Arts Market [APAM]. 

By engaging with the Event, you agree to act with courtesy and respect; and actively participate in ensuring a culturally, physically and psychologically safe Event. 
 
Event Schedule 

The event schedule, speakers, presentations, sessions and activities are correct at the time of publishing; however, PAC Australia reserves the right to alter these without notice and is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a result. 

Price Categories  

 The Event registration fee requires delegates to select the package that best aligns with their or their organisations annual turnover. There are 3 tiers:  

Small – Independent / Under $250,000 p.a 

Medium – $250,001 to $1 million p.a. 

Large – $1 million+ p.a. 

 
Annual turnover is defined as the entity’s total ordinary income over a financial year. The entity is the organisation structure that is responsible for the organisation, for example the local government that owns and manages the performing arts centre.  

 

Registration  

Registration includes Event registrations and Networking Tickets. There will be no reduction in the fee if you do not to attend or only attend part of the schedule purchased. 

All delegates will receive confirmation of registration via email. Any changes to registrations once the registration confirmation is issued are subject to the cancellation and transfer conditions below.  
 
Admission to the Event or access to the online APAM platform (Event registration holders only) is not permitted until payment is received by PAC Australia. 
 
Each party will bear their own costs related to any payments.   
 
 

Admission 

PAC Australia (and the venues) reserve the right to deny admission or remove from any in-person Event/session any person who: 

  • is not registered for the Event and/or Networking Session 
  • has not made payment in full 
  • is deemed a threat to other attendees or to proceedings 
  • is non-compliant with safety measures required by the venue, PAC Australia or the Government as advised on the APAM website, at the venue or by PAC Australia or venue staff 
  • is not wearing their name badge or suitable identification is not available.  
     

Cancellations and Registration Transfers 

If the Event cannot be held or is postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of PAC Australia, or you are unable to attend the Event, PAC Australia shall not be liable for any and all damages, costs or losses incurred. 

 

Transfer of registration 

 

Should a registered delegate no longer be able to attend the Event (including any functions and networking events), their registration can be transferred to another delegate from the same organisation prior to the commencement of the event. Requests to transfer a registration must be made in writing to PAC Australia by 5pm Tuesday 10 February 2026 (Australian Western Standard Time). 

 

We cannot guarantee the update of any delegate materials if the request to transfer credentials is received less than ten days before the start date of the Event. 
 
Cancellation with Funding:  

If you or PAC Australia cancel your registration (under any circumstances or at any time) or, for whatever reason you do not attend the Event, and you have received any funding or financial support from PAC Australia to attend the Event, you must repay that amount back to PAC Australia. An invoice will be issued to you. 

 

Cancellation by Delegate:  

Should a delegate wish to cancel their registration to the Event PAC Australia will refund their registration fee less an administration fee of AUD$55.00 per registered attendee, provided we receive notice in writing by 5pm Wednesday 21 January 2026 (Australian Western Standard Time). For cancellations advised after this date we will refund 50% of the registration fee less an administration fee of AUD$55.00 per registered attendee.  

 

The delegate is still liable for the balance of the registration cost (plus the administration fee) even if payment had not already been made for the registration. 

 

Cancellation by PAC Australia:  

PAC Australia reserves the right to cancel a delegate’s registration at any point, without prior notice. The delegate will be notified by email, and entry to the Event will not be permitted. All other cancellation terms apply.  

 

Recording, Photography & Social Media  

No professional photography or videography is permitted at any time during the Event without media credentials which must be obtained from PAC Australia. Photography and videography for social media purposes are encouraged provided that performance material is not shared in full and the artist or speaker is referenced. Photography policies from individual artists or organisations may vary from PAC Australia‘s policy. 

 

Professional photographs, audio and video may be captured throughout the Event proceedings. All attendees hereby grant PAC Australia permission to use any photos or video in which they may appear. Should you wish to not have your image published you should notify the organisers.  
 
Privacy 

Delegate registration & contact information is collected as per the Privacy Policy available on the registration site and used in accordance with PAC Australia’s own Privacy Policy which is available at https://paca.org.au/privacy-statement/

Delegates with an Event registration only: 

Your name, organisation and headshot will be available on the ‘Who’s Coming’ page of the public website. 
 
A delegate contact list will be available on the APAM delegate-only platform/s including delegate name, organisation, email address, country, and artform interests. An opt-out is provided in the registration process if you do not want your details included. You may also contact admin@paca.org.au to have your details removed.  
 

Liability & Theft 

 PAC Australia is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen or damaged at any time during the Event, however the organisation takes such instances of loss very seriously and will investigate to the best of its ability. PAC Australia may also direct anyone who reports a lost or stolen item to the venue and/or the proper authorities.  

 

Changes  

PAC Australia reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined by PAC Australia. By continuing to participate in the Event after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.  
 

Entire Agreement 

Subject to any amendments to the Event registration forms, the terms and conditions listed here constitute the entire agreement between PAC Australia and its delegates. This entire agreement supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations and agreements in relation to the Event.

All delegates and participants at the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) acknowledge and appreciate the distinct expertise, skills, and backgrounds of each other, committing to interact in a respectful and collaborative manner. PAC Australia is committed to ensuring APAM is a welcoming, safe, and respectful event that embraces accessibility and inclusivity. Regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, colour, age, religion, national origin, economic status, or political affiliation, every participant and attendee should experience a positive and constructive APAM.

Maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for all is a collective responsibility.

When registering for APAM, all delegates agree to treat one another with fairness, respect, and dignity. Harassment in any form is not tolerated, and you acknowledge PAC Australia’s (and the venue’s) right to remove individuals from the event engaging in conduct that threatens the safety of others.

 

Changing or cancelling your registration

Any changes to registrations once the registration confirmation is issued are subject to the cancellation and transfer conditions, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.

Confirmation and receipt

Once you complete your registration you’ll receive an email confirming the information we have received.

The confirmation email will include your tax invoice, whether you have already paid by credit card or are paying later by direct deposit. If you’ve supplied a purchase order number, that will appear on your invoice.
