Public transport
All Transperth buses are fully accessible, including the free CAT buses operating in loops in the city. Buses can kneel to the kerb and lower their step to make stepping on easier, or extend a ramp for access to wheelchairs, prams and mobility aids. Upon arrival in Perth you might like to purchase a Smart Rider card, which is your way of paying for any rides you take on Transperth services. Smart Riders are $10 plus any additional credit you put on the card. Simply load the card with any credit and tap it on the designated machines when you step on and off the bus or train.
